Bay Systems Inc. is pleased to be working with ForHealth Technologies Inc., the premier provider of technological innovations for preparing injectable medications. Our most recent project with ForHealth Technologies was the development and release of IntelliFlowRx ™ I.V. Room Workflow Manager.
We teamed with ForHealth Technologies to take their product from concept to a working version in an exceptionally aggressive timeframe in order to exhibit the software at a major industry trade show. This gave ForHealth Technologies a time-to-market advantage in the production of critical technology for I.V. room automation.
The demonstration version of this product was designed in close cooperation with hospital pharmacies and enthusiastically received by hospitals and pharmacists. IntelliFlowRx ™ I.V. is the first product to bring the benefits of workflow automation technology to the I.V. room. IntelliFlowRx ™ I.V. manages and tracks every I.V. dose. Complete visibility of every dose eliminates common causes of lost doses, missed doses, expensive dose ‘re-makes’, and time-consuming searches for missing doses, while streamlining all dose compounding and checking processes.

Knowledge and Flexibility = Client Satisfaction
After an enthusiastic reception of the demonstration version by hospitals and pharmacists, ForHealth Technologies planned for rapid development of the production version in order to meet customer demand. ForHealth Technologies needed quick estimates to determine the best way to meet their time, cost, and quality objectives. Bay Systems provided several options and estimates.
This flexibility allowed ForHealth Technologies to immediately obtain top management approval to move forward. Less than four months after receiving the high level requirements, we were able to deliver eight modules, merged with ForHealth code, for the early release program at multiple customer sites. Bay Systems provided highly effective, experienced and knowledgeable personnel to supplement the ForHealth team in order to meet their tight timelines, and worked closely with them on web-based portions of the project requiring special technical expertise. Frequent communication and coordination was a key to the project’s success.
